Will it fit my car?
Yes. Choose your make, model and year in the order form and your shade is cut to that windshield's exact dimensions before it ships. If your model isn't listed, pick “Other” and we'll confirm measurements with you by email before cutting.
Does it fit my car?
Foldaro is cut in five widths from 1,240 mm to 1,390 mm (48.8–54.7 in), measured across the base of the windshield. That covers most cars, hatchbacks, crossovers and mid-size SUVs — Tesla Model 3/Y/S/X, Toyota Corolla/Camry/RAV4, Honda Civic/CR-V, Hyundai Tucson, Kia Sportage, Mazda CX-5, BMW 3/X3, Audi A4/Q5, VW Golf/Tiguan and similar. Full-size trucks (F-150, Silverado, Ram), Cybertruck and the largest SUVs (Expedition, Navigator, Tahoe) are wider than 1,390 mm and are not covered yet. Tell us your car at checkout and we confirm the width with you before cutting.
How is it powered?
It runs off your car's OBD port, so there's no battery to charge and nothing to plug in each time. Power draw is minimal, and the shade only moves when you press the button.
What if the port under my dash is hard to reach?
The shade plugs into the standard diagnostic (OBD) port every car has under the dash. On a few models the port is recessed or angled; a short OBD-to-12V adapter cable (a few dollars online) lets you power it from the cigarette-lighter socket instead. No wiring, no cutting either way.
Can I drive with it up?
No — and you shouldn't want to. Foldaro is for a parked car. One press retracts it fully into its housing before you pull away, which takes a few seconds.
How hard is the installation?
It mounts along the headliner and plugs into the OBD port. No drilling, no cutting, no trip to a fitter. Written instructions come in the box.
Will it damage my headliner or glass?
No. It mounts to existing trim points and rests against the glass without adhesive on the windshield itself.
What if it doesn't fit?
It shouldn't — we confirm the width with you by email before cutting. If a unit arrives faulty or cut to the wrong size we gave you, report it within 14 days with photos and we replace it or refund it.
